The “F” word is considered by many to be one of the worst curse words in the English language. For example you can say the “S” word an unlimited amount of times in a PG-13 movie. You can only use one F-bomb in a PG-13 film. It’s edited on TV and radio. According to Wikipedia it’s the third worst word in the English language. It’s right behind the “C” word and the “F” word with the word mother attached to it.
Here’s the thing with the F-bomb, in most uses it just doesn’t make sense. If you replace the F-bomb with what it means, sex, it is very clear that it doesn’t make sense. For example…
- Sex you
- Don’t give a sex or the sister phrase… don’t give a flying sex
- Sex off
- Sex the sexing sexers
- Sex yeah
- Don’t sex it up
- What the sex
- Don’t sex with me
The next time you hear someone throw down an “F” bomb replace what they said with the word sex. It’s pretty humorous.
one of my pet peeves is when people put "FML" on their FB or Tweets…especially Christians…i get that people have those moments or days where we might feel like that but man up or shut up…and i can't say this because I've been that person
How about, instead of substituting the word "sex", we use "three bean salad"? You would hear street toughs telling each other to "go three bean salad yourself". Powerful? Yes. Intimidating? Perhaps. Humorous? Oh yeah!
