Observation: A common phrase given to nervous public speakers is to picture your audience in their underwear or naked. I’m not sure why that would help make a person less nervous. In fact if the audience pictured the speaker in their underwear or naked it would actually make them nervous. Spouses excluded, I think it’s hard to respect what someone says if they are in their underwear or naked.
Rob, some deep thoughts rattling around in your head today. Have you been given this "public speaking" advice in preparation for your talk this Sunday? Now I will feel kind of self-conscious when you make eye contact with me at the 6 p.m. service….
if i am in the crowd…i wear lace…just to help you visualize and all…anything to help the speaker, you know. you are going to do great!

Agreed. It would be too weird and very inappropriate if the congregation at WEC sat there in their underpants!
