Needtobreathe is my friend. Needtobreathe is my favorite band. Now I need to clarify something. They don’t have a fat clue who I am. I’ve met stalked them four times and they were kind enough to not only take a picture but to also talk to me. I also had a chance to sign some autographs when some fans mistook me for a member of the band. Anyway back to why Needtobreathe is my friend. Their music is amazing! They are consistently there for me in the music department. They don’t let me down. And therefore they are my friend.
Needtobreathe came out with a new album on Tuesday. I wanted to have a chance to listen to it before I shamelessly plugged it from my blog. I have now had the chance to listen to the whole thing multiple times and I must say…it’s amazing! I love their new album. It’s 14 songs of awesome. If you want your ears to love you do yourself a favor and buy their album.
I recommend buying the whole album but if you are just looking for a few songs to download…Download this: Keep Your Eyes Open, Drive All Night, Devil’s Been Talking.

But my all time fav is Jon Foreman. Love his solo stuff. He’s actually my writing hero.

somehow, i only just discovered needtobreathe during our hurrication to my parents house! but…i LOVE them. i actually downloaded the whole album (haven’t done that in a LONG time!). can’t wait to get the new (and old) cd!

I bought “Free to Be Me” by Francesca Battistelli for my wife off of iTunes a couple of years ago. I think that’s the last music I bought. I honestly don’t keep up with new music at all and just mostly listen to the stuff I bought in college.
I hear ya. There are only a couple of bands now that I keep up with. In college I followed tons of bands.
My favorite band is Third Day. I don’t know how, but each album is better than the last.
Third Day is awesome. I agree, just when you don’t think they can top themselves, they do.
ThatGuyKC, I still think Time is their best album. The last album of theirs that I bought was Wire. I loved that CD.
100% agree. Needtobreathe is incredible. They have been my favorite band for a few years. The Reckoning has been candy for my ears since Tuesday.

I think it is Ooh’s and Ahh’s at this time. It is still pretty early to make a final judgement though.

I’ve been a big fan for years now, but ABLE takes it to a whole new level. GARDEN is my hands down favorite, but this album does not disappoint!!
Able is a great song. My favorite is Something Beautiful and then More Time. Love both of those songs.
I’m waiting for the new Mutemath album. Its release also happens to be around the time of the iPhone 5 announcement and the release of the iPhone software update. Does everything really have to happen all at once?
I hate that. Well at least the Mutemath album won’t cost you hundreds. Can’t say the same for the iPhone.
The good thing is that I haven’t had my iPhone long enough to worry about upgrading just yet.
Man, NeedtoBreathe is awesome! Their unique sound is addictive. I will have to pick up their new one. It’s cool you got to meet them. Let’s see, my favorite bands. Here..maybe a list will work out.

I’m just now getting into these NEEDTOBREATHE (caps or no?) guys. Love the main singer’s distinct voice. Will definitely give their new album a listen on Spotify. My favorite band is Casting Crowns and I can’t wait for their new album to release next month!

Last CD bought was just yesterday (Ashes Remain). Favorite band: Stryper. Yeah, I am old school. I love their The Covering CD. It is a cover of some songs of the 70s (Kansas & Led Zep) and 80s. Almost bought the Best of Switchfoot yesterday but had to make a choice. Don’t listen to much radio so not too familiar with music of NTB.
Stryper! I remember them. I didn’t know they were still around. I saw the lead singer in concert at a festival and he was a lot more mellow then in his Stryper days.
I love their nasally little voices as well. I’ve been listening to Washed by the Water obsessively lately.
