Today I have two posts going up. This one and one to come around 9:00 AM. I am being featured on another blog today and it’s not going up until 9:00. I have a link coming but I don’t want to send people there until it shows up on his site.
With that being said I wanted to post something because there are a handful of people that read robshep.com first thing in the morning. For those who do I want to say thank you. I especially want to thank Larry
Each morning while I’m getting ready I check my comments. If you guys don’t leave a comment I get nervous that my post for the day stinks. As soon as I see your comment I feel a bit of accomplishment. Your comments mean a lot to me and I want to thank you for reading and for commenting so often.
I feel like the comments are a HUGE part of my blog. People often tell me that they like the comments as much as my blog. You five play a HUGE part in that. Thank you!
For everyone else that reads early in the morning…thank you and stay awesome!
Rob, if I don’t see a post early on, I’m worried the twins are sick or you are really struggling getting their legs in their clothes. Looking forward to 9 am today.
Larry, that’s funny stuff.
The Early Bird gets The Worm. These guys are great. Several of them are regular early morning contributors over at my blog as well. Hats off to those who get our blogs rolling in the early AM!
Jon, I appreciate it every time you leave a comment. Your blog is most excellent. Keep up the great stuff.
I would hate to be the reason you have a Horrible, no good, very bad day, so I will not disappoint you this morning. Here is my comment. Also want you to know I look forward to reading your blog. BTW: I do get up at 4 so if you really want to push the envelope and see who your faithful morning contributors are… 🙂 Have a great day Rob
Bill, I’ll see what I can do. I might throw one down at 4 just to surprise you.
I think stopping by robshep is just part of my morning routine. Whether it is a smile or a life lesson, it is a great way to start my day. Blessings my friend.
Thanks Daniel!
Didn’t know you were timing our comments Rob. Now I am unsure if I want to conform and try to comment at the same time each day or just throw you off my scent and completely randomize when I stop by.
Joe, I’m not timing them. I appreciate all the comments no matter when they come. I just didn’t want those early risers to think I wasn’t posting. Oh and don’t conform. I was just starting to track your scent. It smells like awesome.
You gotta tell me if my scent is ever bad though, cuz I can’t smell it myself.
Also, Congrats on Awesometown with Knox! Heading to read it now.
Thanks Joe. And will do. My wife thinks that I have a mutant sense of smell.
By saying stay awesome you are assuming that they are already awesome. I know Larry personally. This is a BIG assumption.
Matt, technically I said “for everyone else that reads…stay awesome.” So…I was talking more to you.
Love when these guys comment, too! They speak your love language.
You do realize M that we are all dudes? I think the love language thing is your department. No, I think that I will go lift something heavy and then scratch a bit.
Daniel, this made me literally laugh out loud. I will have to borrow that scratch line.
I always thought that you were too busy breastfeeding your twins to pay attention to that stuff. Do they take turns on one nipple or do you hold them both to each nipple at the same time?) to pay attention to that stuff. 🙂
Moe, not too busy at all. And lucky for me they are eating a lot more baby food now.
Good for you (or your nipples) Do they lactate when you are playing ball?
No…um…actually I haven’t played basketball since the twins were born. I sure hope not. That would be embarrassing.
Always a a highlight of my day reading RobShep. I am so making next early morning risers list.
Joseph, good luck. You’ve got to get up early to get in with that group. Thanks for your comments. I always appreciate them!
Also, on another note. I gave RobShep.com the frameofmind official “bump” yesterday.
What about all us poor slobs who are just now waking up in the afternoon? (No offense to those who work third-shift.)
Russ, you were included in the stay awesome part. Plus I figured most wouldn’t see this post. They see the one that appeared at 10:00 AM.
Rob, don’t trust Matt. He is descended from Gath. He has 6to fingers and toes on each fort and hand. He can count to 24.
Awww…this was a nice thank you blog! I don’t know that I’d ever make the early bird commenting list on a consistent basis. I’m on the West Coast, so what you call “early,” I call “redonkulous.” =) Sometimes I’m up at 3:30 am, but that’s only if I’m trying to catch up on work, so I can’t read any blogs yet.
It’s cool how you care about your commenters…and people in general. You’ve got mad people skillz. Just from reading your blog, I can see why you’re Community Groups director at your church. =)
I can’t believe you called me Ryan No Blog. This is crazy…
