A couple of Sundays ago at WEC I got to channel my hip hop side at church. Sometimes I like to pretend to be a rock star. It doesn’t come out often, but I have a lot of fun with it when it does. If you weren’t there I hope you enjoy the performance.
Absolutely amazing. Donβt run off to Nashville, WEC still needs you. Great job by you, Phil and the WEC band, together you have added another dimension to best worship service available. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.
Anonymous – don't worry. Nashville is not in my future.
John, yeah I'm just a white guy who loves hip hop, owns 7 jerseys, likes chicken, and I love the NBA. All this has caused my wife to ask the same question.
Danielle – yeah! Great to see you back on the comment section of robshep.com. Thanks!
Bethany – ah thanks!
AL – I think Billy would get shot multiple times before the song was over.
I agree with b-rad–when you rap and perform, it becomes my new favorite thing at WEC. The post is good, but pales in comparison to it live. It's always a treat.
every time you rap it becomes my new favorite service at wec. you are so thug rob.
That was downright AWESOME!!!! Wish I'd been there to see it live!
YEAH!!! So cool!! You need to send that to Toby, he would be proud! π For real!
Thanks b-rad
Jill, it was fun. Who knows maybe I'll get to do something like that again at WEC.
Susan, someone else told me that same thing. I would be scared to Toby see that.
that was amazing!

It was AMAZING! Eden LOVED it! I loved it too! You guys rocked it out! Thanks for sharing your talents!
What?! Rob that was awesome! Great job. I think Billy should try that at Concord next week. π haha! π
You did an awesome job on this one. What's even cooler is that I can say that I know you.
Brian, thanks!

Faith, thanks! The first time we did the song I was nervous b/c I didn't know how WEC would like it. I'm glad people enjoyed it. I had fun with it.
Chuck and I love this! Wish we could have been there live!
Ambre, I wish you two were there as well. We miss you guys at WEC.
I believe you did a rap with Robbie Leffel once at Liberty good times
