Joe, I think you are on to something. The only reason that I have seen Harry Potter is because of my wife. I’m not a big fan of the movie series. Do you visit Ricky Anderson’s site? It’s been said that we are brothers. If that’s true you might be related to us as well.
I do frequent Ricky Anderson’s site. His was one of the 1st ones I found when I started using Google Reader. Maybe we are distant cousins.

Dear Ricky: Don’t see Titanic. Longest 3 hours of my life. Halfway through, I was saying, I’m glad the boat sinks.
I’m glad my wife has never tried to force this one on me.
My wife has the movie on VHS. She watches the first tape with all the lovey-dovey crap. I watch the second tape where people are falling off the boat and their bodies are bouncing off the railings. Everyone wins.
Ricky, you cut me deep with that one. There is no way that we are brothers or even cousins if you have never seen TMNT.
And I retract my previous comment above. Gotta agree with Rob here. No way I could be related to a someone who has never seen TMNT. There is hope though…Ricky, did you at least play TMNT on Super Nintendo?

My parents wouldn’t let me watch it, so I had no choice.

My mom wouldn’t let me watch old school Star Trek because it was too “scary”… now it looks so hokey and goofy that it’s comical.

Randal, you know I’ve never seen Buffy. I might need to Netflix it. I’ve heard good things but I’ve never seen an episode. I did see the movie.

Zombies. They’re not pretentious. Although if you could mix zombies and vampires and end up with a zombpire or a vambie, that might be kind of intriguing.

Oh, dozens and dozens. I don’t watch many movies — not because of any firmly-held principles or anything, but just because I’m apathetic about movies that aren’t by Pixar. If you name a high-profile movie from the past few years, there’s a very good chance I haven’t seen it.
-Favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?
I liked the show, but I never had a favorite.

TMZ, O Brother is a weird movie. I left the theater and I was so confused with it. Not confused like I didn’t understand. More like confused because it is so weird. But I couldn’t stop talking about it. The more I talked about it the more I started to realize that I might have actually liked it. It has some classic lines that quote to this day.
‘Oh Brother’ is one on my faves. A nice modern (sorta) translation of a classic story. And I am a Dapper Dan Man!

I used to consider The Godfather required viewing and one of my favorite movies.
I tried to watch it again two years ago and had to turn it off. Too much crap to wade through to appreciate the excellent story line.
I figure that there is so much of the movie in pop culture already that I probably already know most of it by now.
I also can say that I hadn’t seen any of the Lethal Weapon movies until last week and my wife put on LW2 since they’re on Netflix now. I guess that would have been a close second.

Michaelangelo was always the popular funny guy. I’ve always picked a favorite based on what wasn’t the consensus. Somehow I didn’t grow up to become a hipster though.
