My
- My brother and I have been playing a video game together for over 1 1/2 years. We started it a long time ago and finally beat it this past week. Now to our defense we didn’t get to play it a lot. It was a few hours here and there. We didn’t play this game unless the two of us were together. It took forever, but we finally beat that game! I know you don’t care but it’s a big deal to us. We wasted many hours trying to beat this game.
- I got Mat Kearney’s new CD for my birthday. Love it! I love his first two CD’s and this one might be the best one yet. If you haven’t heard “Hey Mama” then you should apologize to your ears. It’s a great song.
- What actor has the best overall movie library? I was talking about this with a group of my friends and opinions varied greatly. Everyone from Arnold and Sly to Bill Murray was mentioned. I would have to say that the top three are Harrison Ford, Tom Cruise, and Arnold. I know that some of you will think Arnold is a joke but it’s who my brother picked. After looking over his films and looking at the films that I own on DVD, he rules. Predator, Terminator 2, True Lies, Kindergarten Cop, and Twins are all great movies that I own. Which actor do you think has the best overall library? Remember it’s not who is your favorite actor it’s who has the best overall library. That is if you owned everyone of their movies they would have the most great movies out of any other actor.
- Last week was week two of my vacation. I love vacation! This was one of the weirdest ones of my life. First off it was the first one that I’ve had with kids. Kids are game changers when it comes to vacation. The first week of vacation was started with me getting strep throat and it ended with Monica getting strep throat. That was not fun. We did manage to get away to Smithfield Station for one night. We recieved a very nice gift card and were able to get a hotel room and dinner. It was a nice quick get a way.
- The second week of vacation was great. We rested as much as you can rest with 4 month old twins. I got to watch a couple of movies on DVD. And we got away for one night to Monica’s parent’s river house. It was a great week.
- My wife and I are on a Raisin Brand Crunch kick. It’s a great cereal. What is your favorite cereal?
- Unless your name is Indiana it’s perfectly acceptable to scream like an 11 year old girl whenever you walk through a spiderweb. Yes I did walk through one and yes it did inspire that thought.
- Do you remember the movie The Wizard? I saw that movie as a kid and loved it. It starred Fred Savage and it was the premiere of Super Mario Bros 3.
- Speaking of Super Mario Bros 3, the first time I played that game it was in Asian. Now I know that’s not proper but I don’t know if it was in Chinese or Japanese. The point is that the game was all in an Asian language that I didn’t understand. We rented it when it first came out and for some reason they didn’t have the English version. We didn’t know you could fly for the longest time. We would run and hear this whistle blowing and wonder what in the world it meant. That is a great game! Maybe the best?
- My twins eat the same thing every day for every meal and yet they produce different styles of poo. I don’t know how the smell and texture could be so different. They should smell the same and look the same all the time.
- When was the last time you went to Golden Carrol? I went there the other day because a friend of mine wanted to eat there. It’s not easy to A. Find high quality food B. Find Weight Watcher friendly food and C. resist eating that low quality non Weight Watcher friendly food. I did pretty good resisting.
- I am not a big fan of the beach. I’ve got what you’d call a keg of a gut. I don’t fit in great where people enjoy showing off their six packs. When I do go to the beach the first thing I do if find someone who has a bigger gut then me and then go and hang out near them. I learned this from a Garfield comic. He said to hang out with people fatter then you and you’ll look thinner. Only problem is when I am the fattest guy. I’m hoping that by not eating at Golden Carrol again and by sticking with Weight Watchers that I won’t be the fattest guy at the beach next summer. I still won’t love the beach.
- On second thought I might never have a beach ready body. Did you know that they make donuts with bacon? Who knew?
- Monica and I went to RingO’s while we were on vacation. It’s a little donut shop in Smithfield, VA. They had donuts with bacon. BACON!
- My son Hayden threw up on my face. It was my fault. I was so excited to see him after we stayed a night away that I picked him up and held him over my head. He was so excited to see me that he puked. People may call it spit up but it was projectile and came out of his mouth. That sounds like puke to me.
- I have mentioned this on the blog before but I have never puked. I’ve never hugged a toilet. I’ve never been sick to my stomach. I’ve also never had a cavity or been stung by a bee.
Whew…I feel better now.
Your mind is random. I am slightly disappointed though that part of your randomness did not include a trip to Chipotle. Dude, how can you forget? Movie library? i would go either with Harrison Ford or (don’t laugh) Kevin Costner. Cruise would be ok as well. your real challenge would be female. 🙂 Favorite cereal? Either chocolate Cheerios or chocolate little Bites. I’m not on WW either. I am sure glad I don’t eat donuts or Golden Corral. I would be as big as a house with permanent indigestion. And that is my mind dump for now. Remember the word: Chipotle.
Nice Mind Dump. I do remember Chipotle. Ate there again today.
Okay man. Very random. And I’m sorry about the puke.
Michael, thanks. It was pretty bad. But I survived.
I thought you liked Golden Corral as much as the rest of us? Or perhaps I was delusional from all that food….. Not great, but worth $10. Also, I have to emphatically disagree with Arnold! ARNOLD!?!? Did you make that descision while in a GC coma? Choosing Arnold may have deleted your credibility as a movie reviewer. Please re watch and compare with any of those other guys.
I did not like it as much as Dan and Monica. I liked it fine and will go back but it’s not amazing.
I’m apologizing to my ears right now. Thanks for turning them against me. Hope your day is swell!
Thanks. Your ears will forgive you if you listen to his song.
Carey Ewes wins best movie library in my opinion. Princess Bride, Robin Hood Men in Tights, Glory, Twister, Days of Thunder, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Liar Liar, Saw, and He’s even been on Tv shows like Pinky and the Brain, Batman Beyond, and PSYCH 🙂
but Honestly the real answer is probably Denzel…
Denzel is up there. He’s been in some great ones.
That’s a lot of randomness. You lost me at the texture of your children’s poop… then when I saw the photo of that donut, brain said: baby poop. Yeah, you ruined my breakfast. Thanks! 🙂
You are welcome. I think.
I thought so too, Moe! And Rob’s not above posting that.
You’ve never puked? That must mean you’ve never watched an episode of Glee, then.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! I’m going to carry that joke for months.
Sadly I have watched Glee and still no puke.
If you’ve watched Glee and haven’t puked, I suspect you’re physically incapable of puking. Have you checked with your doctor to make sure you’re not a horse? Horses can’t puke.
Glad to hear that you and your brother finally beat Double Dragon II.
I would agree with the Arnold library. At home, we have a lot of Tom Hanks: Forrest Gump, Cast Away, Road to Perdition, That Thing You Do. I could do without Tom Cruise though, even before he jumped the couch.
Raisin Bran Crunch is teh awesome. Golden Corral, however, is not.
Russ, your picture is amazing! And it wasn’t Double Dragon II. That games unbeatable. Oh and thanks for the Arnold comment. Some people are calling me crazy.
Bacon on a donut is what the Lord’s Prayer means when it says “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”
That’s funny stuff. Made me laugh. Thanks for that.
As much as I like bacon, I was more enthralled by the fact that the donut is hexagonal. Amazing.
Interesting. I didn’t notice that. Score one for Brynn.
Oh man, I loved The Wizard. Thru that movie I remember discovering the warp in level 4. Amazing.
Dustin, you might be the only other person in the world that watched the Wizard.
Hmmm, Denzel came to mine before I saw Michael’s post so I gotta agree he has got a good movie library – http://tinyurl.com/2g9mqh – and if you can count time as both actor or director Clint Eastwood has got some good ones
What was up with that link? You Rick Rolled me.
OK, let’s try again replying to you actual comment … hope you got a chuckle from it
I did. That was really funny.
Matt Damon.
I win.
I pick Harrison Ford when it comes to best overall movie library. Indiana Jones and Star Wars alone put him near the top.
I am with you Matt! Add the Fugitive and you have 7 of my all time favorite movies.
Hope you got a chuckle from it
My top actors are Denzel Washington and Matt Damon. Matt Damon doesn’t have as many films out yet, but he is a solid one!
Matt Damon is solid. I don’t think you can argue much with Denzel. He’s consistant. The only thing with him is that I don’t re-watch a lot of his movies. I like them but I don’t watch them over and over again. So for owning a library he falls down on my list.
Wait r there donuts shaped like stop signs now?!
Funny. I guess at this place there are.
